Field of transparent conducting thin film coating such as graphene, metal wire network. This coating can be explored for various applications such as heaters, corrosion protection, smart windows, gas sensing and biological cover slips. Additionally, focused on reducing the complexity and the cost involved in graphene production. For the same, we utilize bio-material as a carbon precursor with mild temperature and pressure conditions. Currently, we
are in joint collaboration with TATA to broaden the scope of steel usage in different application.

Investigation of optical and electrical properties of Rotated Multilayer Graphene is prime interest of my research work (e.g. Raman, FET, temperature dependent conductivity, etc.). Herein, we use rotary pressure CVD grown graphene over Ni foil as a case study. Further, research is focused on using the metal network based Transparent Conducting Electrode for the fabrication of human interactive devices such as Touch screens, thin film heater, EMI shield. The part of the work is demonstrated as prototypes in CeNS prototype gallery.

Additionally, my interest extends to Instrumentation Development. Currently, we are in the process of developing advance Gas Sensing setup.

Focused in the area of Electrochemical Energy Storage devices or Supercapacitors. Fabrication of electrodes for the Supercapacitors using metal and graphene based materials and finding optimal configuration of the electrodes by various process like photolithography etc. for achieving high energy density and as well as high power density of the Supercapacitor devices are main interests.
Additionally, pursuing on investigating supramolecular nanofibre based various organic functional materials as electrolytes for the Supercapacitors and increasing the energy and power density under different conditions. Further, involved in the inspection on the gas sensing properties of this supramolecular materials.
