Mr. Indrajit Mondal

Focused on various aspects of nanoscience and nanotechnology ranging from preparation to their applications. Currently, research pursue is on Patterned Large Area Transparent Conducting Electrode using laser printer and Crackle Lithography for the fabrication of advanced opto-electronic devices such as capacitive touch sensors, transparent microsupercapacitor, seven segment display, hydration sensors etc. Further, my interest lies in the area of oxide materials and their application in gas sensors. In addition, working on low cost but highly efficient particulate matter filter using conducting micro mesh.

Focused in the area of Electrochemical Energy Storage devices or Supercapacitors. Fabrication of electrodes for the Supercapacitors using metal and graphene based materials and finding optimal configuration of the electrodes by various process like photolithography etc. for achieving high energy density and as well as high power density of the Supercapacitor devices are main interests.
Additionally, pursuing on investigating supramolecular nanofibre based various organic functional materials as electrolytes for the Supercapacitors and increasing the energy and power density under different conditions. Further, involved in the inspection on the gas sensing properties of this supramolecular materials.
